1. What the Site does

This Site is operated by FIXSWIFT LIMITED (駱記水電工程有限公司), Business Registration No. 80027450-000-03-26-5. It is an information platform that helps Hong Kong home-repair needs find registered repair contractors. The Site is not a contracting company and does not carry out any repair work on your behalf.

2. Where the directory information comes from

Listing information — including names, services, areas covered, registration numbers, biographies and reviews — is submitted by the contractors. The Site does not guarantee that it is complete, accurate or up to date.

• Registration numbers are supplied by the contractor. You can check them yourself against the EMSD Register of Registered Electrical Contractors or the Water Supplies Department Register of Registered Plumbing Contractors, or ask the contractor for a copy of their licence.
• The Site does not, and cannot, confirm a contractor’s qualifications, experience or past workmanship for you.

3. Contracts and payments

The contract for the work is between you and the contractor. The Site is not a party to it, is not your agent and is not a partner in it.

Payment, receipts, invoices, warranty periods and liability for damage are handled entirely between you and the contractor.

4. Scope of responsibility

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site accepts no responsibility for:

• a contractor’s skill, workmanship, punctuality, quoted price or any other act or omission of theirs;
• the performance of, or any dispute or loss arising under, the contract between you and a contractor;
• the acts of any third party, including landlords, tenants, property management companies and other contractors;
• any arrangement made through channels other than the Site, including telephone, WhatsApp and face-to-face contact.

Where applicable law does not permit a particular liability to be excluded or limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence — this limitation does not apply to that liability.

5. Complaints

You can raise a complaint through the Site’s form or by email.

• We record the case, refer it to the contractor concerned where appropriate, and help both sides communicate where we can.
• We do not recover money on your behalf, assess the quality of the work, or take legal action for you.
• Receiving a complaint does not mean we have investigated it or accepted either side’s account.

6. Removing a listing

We may remove or suspend a listing if we receive a credible complaint, find that the listing breaches these terms, or at the contractor’s request.

Removing a listing does not mean we have reached any conclusion about the complaint.

7. Data and privacy

How we collect and use personal data is set out in our Personal Data Privacy Policy.

8. Content and intellectual property

The Site’s layout, text, icons and design belong to us.

Biographies, service descriptions, registration numbers and similar content submitted by a contractor remain that contractor’s, and the contractor may ask us to remove them.

Site content is general information only. It is not engineering advice, a condition survey or an offer.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The updated version carries a new "last updated" date on this page.

By continuing to use the Site you accept the updated version.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong SAR. Any dispute relating to the Site is subject to the jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.

11. The request board, contractor registration and review

Contractors can register on the Site. Every registration is reviewed by us, and only approved contractors can see customer requests and contact customers.

A contractor pressing "Contact me" on the board only means they want the job. It does not make them your contractor and creates no contract between you. Scope, price, payment and warranty are all agreed directly between you and the contractor.

You will see contractors express interest on the board. Seeing one does not oblige you to hire them, and does not mean they have quoted.

The board records your request, and who has viewed or contacted it.
