Personal Data Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Submitted by contractors: name or company name, phone number, WhatsApp number, service categories, areas covered, registration number, biography, and whether they offer free quotations or same-day call-out.
• Submitted by you: request-form content, including a description of the work, your contact details, the area and your budget.
• On your device: favourites, recent searches and quote-form drafts. These are stored in your own browser (localStorage) and are not uploaded unless you submit them.
• Complaints: including the name, contact details and details you provide.

2. Purpose and basis

Purpose: to publish and search the directory; to handle enquiries and pass them to suitable contractors; to handle complaints; to run the Site and prevent abuse.

Basis: necessary for the performance of a contract, or with your consent.

A contractor’s name, services, areas and phone number are published on the directory, because that is the core function of the platform. Contractors see this and confirm it when they submit.

3. Disclosure

• We do not sell, rent or use directory data for third-party marketing.
• Directory information is publicly visible (see above). Request-form content is shared only with the relevant contractors.
• Apart from the above, legal requirements, or disclosure to a regulator, we do not disclose it to anyone else.

4. Retention

• Directory information: until the contractor asks us to remove it, or we remove the listing.
• Enquiries and complaints: kept for a reasonable period (for example 12 months), then deleted or anonymised.
• On-device localStorage data: stays on your device until you clear your browser data.

5. Access, correction and deletion

You can ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold, to correct it, or to remove a listing you submitted.

Please use the Site’s form or email us, stating what you would like to see. We normally respond within 14 days.

If something is inaccurate, tell us and we will correct it as soon as we can.

6. Security

The Site is 100% static, served over HTTPS, with no database.

Directory information is publicly visible, so please do not put sensitive personal details in a public biography.

7. Cross-border transfers

The Site is hosted by a third-party static host (for example Netlify or Cloudflare), whose servers may sit outside Hong Kong. Request-form content passes through that service on its way to us.

8. Contact

This Site is operated by FIXSWIFT LIMITED (駱記水電工程有限公司), Business Registration No. 80027450-000-03-26-5. For any access, correction or deletion request, or any question at all, use the Site’s form, WhatsApp or email us, and we will reply through the same channel.

9. Your request and your contact details

When you submit a request we publish the trade, the area, your description, how soon you need it, your budget range and how urgent it is on the request board, so registered contractors can pick it up.

Your name, phone number, WhatsApp and email are not shown publicly on the board. Only registered, approved contractors can see your request, and your phone number only appears after one of them presses "Contact me". Even then only that contractor sees it.

If you would rather more contractors could reach you directly, tick "Show my contact details on the board" and your number appears openly.

After submitting you get a private link and a code. Keep them: that link is the only way back into your request.
